Hello Buzzpeeps! i'ts been awhile since i've been here..my internet had a connection problem so i can't use internet at home D: i am now in my aunt's home, borrowing her laptop.

here's some things from my life recently:

1. I deleted all photos from my Buzznet that is not my photo...except the Jamia Nestor gallery. Because i'm a fantard of her i can't help it :')

2. I watched Up, Public Enemies, Drag Me to Hell,Ice Age and Star Trek recently. i'll write a full journal of the reviews, but here a few words of the movies:

UP: ILU PIXAR AND YOUR WELL DEVELOPED ANIMATION ♥

Public Enemies: A pretty movie for guns/violence/pretty dresses lover like me.

Ice Age: a decent cartoon full of slapstick comedy. SIMON PEGG IS IN IT.

Drag Me to Hell: Ice age version of horror. filled with: *silent dramatic tease*---and then BOOM!!!!

Star Trek: SHINY. seriously, there's so much lights in that movie :B SIMON PEGG IS IN IT.

3. when i was in the Cinema, a little kid asked her father "Papa, what's GIJU?" i giggled. he meant G.I. JOE. in Indonesian, there's this thing called 'old spelling'. OE is read as U. ahaha the kid was so cute.

 

now, since i need something else to talk about..this is a Nerdy Journal, where i'm being all nerdy because i can.

for today, i am going to show y'all my art nerd rambling. in deviantArt, i write long ass comment to every deviation i came accross off with things that catch my eyes, things i love, things i don't like, and sometimes critique. i don't do those long ass rambling comment on Buzznet because THERE'S TOO MUCH OF YOU GUYS AHAHA :'D

so here we go!

First, here's the pencils i use. just a little, cause what important in drawing is the amount of shadings yo :p

 

here's the outline!

 

the first shading, start with the thnnest color!

Get the shadows, still with the same color!

now add the shadowns with darker color..i use thin brown here.

EYES :-D and add some outlines!

color the lips~ i use red here :)

and the chest durr~ same step, start with the thin color first.

and the shadows!

The hand, the last part of the visible body on the photo :-Dsame step lah.

now the clothes, since it's black, i start with sketching the darker part first.

Then the details :-D

shadings on the hair! i start with the brown shade firs...

then the black ness...i's easier that way for me :p

Hello everyone! You might have wonder..you might have not wonder, what i have been doing lately. Well,i have been...

Yo! Welcome to ‘Potatoon’s way to draw cartoony face’ :-D Today, I will explain to you my step-by-step in drawing faces, with some info.

But, I gotta tell you. If you are looking for something like this:

where are their noses??!

 

Then I’ll say, I can’t help you :B

My style of drawing isn’t anime; its cartoony with more realism.

This is going to be kinda long, but there will be a lot of drawings; so it would bore you so much… I hope.

 

First! Lets meet the first thing we have to study for drawing face:

 

 

Oh yeah bb. It’s the great Human’s skull. And he say love to you! ;-)

Now you might wonder

“wait! You mean we have to learn and draw every bit of skulls to make a cartoon? Noooo!!”

 

the answer is… HELL NAW. Its not that complicated! (throws confetti happily)

…but, we still have to study it anyway. (pick up confetti sadly)

 

but no, we don’t really draw a skull for every faces we draw; that’ll be too hard. At least to me. Bahaha.

We use skull to know the basic on where you put things (eyes, mouth, noses) its just example :-D

And here, is a more simple basic of human’s head

 

 

Now, let’s fill it up!

 

First, eyes!

Remember, eyes are round/circle, not square or ~*amazingly oval*~. So it will be easier to draw a circle first, then draw the pupil, iris, and then the eye lines. Like this:

 

Here some examples of eyes and the emotions of it:

 

Just remember that eyes aren’t THAT big. Its not so small either. You can decide the length by looking reference, or easier your own eyes ;-)

 

Next, nose!

Nose could be quite tricky at first because of the shape. You have to think about the shape the most. Except when you’re drawing Voldemort.

There’s 2 technique on drawing noses. These:

 

 I don’t use the first one often, I use the second one because its more simple. But you can choose for yourself ;-)

 And here’s some example of different shapes of nose. Yep, noses are different! Just look at your nose and your cat’s nose! Different ain’t it? ;-D

 

 

Now the mouth!

Remember the ‘mouth area’? Here’s how to use it:

 

That’s the use of mouth area line; to know where the mouth ends and begin :-D

Now some examples of lips and the emotions of it

 

You got the ‘filler’! you’re almost done!

If you’ve practice a lot, you could use even more simple lines than the first one! Just one circle and one line. Make things easier and faster! Like this:

 

 

 

Now, last but not least, keep in mind that PEOPLE HAVE DIFFERENT FACES STRUCTURE. Its usually depends on the gender and the fat contribution of the person. Have some experiment :-D

 

And you iz finished!

 

Some notes:

1. face is SRS BSNS. Look up to reference for a good structure. I do at first :-D and then you can experiment by your own! You can always reference Johnny Depp to draw manly man
2. 
   and refrence Jamia Nestor to reference a beautiful woman. :-)
   
3. PRACTICE. its the only way. like, really :B
   
4. keep in mind, you dont have to draw in MY style. you can take the information you found useful here and use it on your own style :-)

Hwaa~ng.. im sick now. i had a fever since 5 days ago. and i keep coughing. oh well, i always coughing anyway. it never actually healed. it never stop.
my head is still dizzy D:  but i cant leave Buzznet anymore longer so im still trying to online and keep in touch with my friends~ ehehe :-p

the earlier 2 days(tuesday and wednesday) wasnt so bad. Thursday is the worst time. in the morning,i have this headache that really hurt. im also coughing so hard that i throw up D: i was also hot.
..not THAT hot. i mean, my temperature is hot :-p ahaha.
i told my Grandma, and she gave me medicine and told me to sleep.
and then i diiieee (sleep) all day.

i quit school for 3 days, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. oh crap, there was a geography exam D: i feel bad being sick. damn you sickness >:[

at Saturday me and my grandprents (my father and my mother are both working) go to the Doctor. didnt actually listen what he said though, i was dizzy. ahaha :'D
he gave me 6 medicine. 3 little colorful pills (that looks like candy,ahaha) 2 big white pills and one cough syrup. whee so much medicine, ne?

my throat hurt if i eat something D: so i only eat porridge.  my grandma make a super yummy one :'D


well now i fell bit better, still coughing and dizzy though. im affraid that i cant finish art trde, gift art, and my comic D:

i went to the bookstore today, to see has the new Death Note volume 11 released, (and it has. fufufu) and in front of the book Store, i saw something really fascinating.

a twilight poster.

ROFL. sounds weird, but yep, its just really fascinate me. somehow. the poster is promoting the THIRD book of Twilight (i dont even remember the title of it) while the first and the second book has never even been sell in the bookstore. haha. the first book WAS once there in the bookstore, but in the next 2 days, it has gone. (yes, i go to bookstore a lot :B) and i dont think its because its sold-out. seriously.

i was, somehow, shocked the poster was there, so i was like all:

yep, this self-proclamaited idiot guy has lot of crazy things happen in his life and he tell us about it in a funny way. and its very entertaing ^__^

he also have a band and good at guitar and songs. he will also play in a movie based on his own books.

this dude is awesome. and yet, he's so super down-to-earth. and he's responsible for my crazy-ness and how its hard for me to be angry. when im angry, i just pick up his books and read it, and all my anger has gone. ROFL.

thats all my ramble. how's your day?

for the past week. as i said on the earlier journal, i was one of the EO for our school event, Pesantren Kilat. i was so tired, and stuff ;___: but really, it was a lot of fun! =D my friends always makes situations so fun!

however....i still feel so tired. very very tired. like

the event was outdoor, so we (the EO) has to bring chair, table and stuff to the school yard everyday. wuaa... ;A;

and i has a bad,bad experiance with these chair stuff =P one of the table fall on my hand. hows that possible?? hard to explain, but (painful) shit happens. ;___;

since i waste 3/4 my day on school this week, i mostly doodling there, ALOT. because the EO has pretty long spare time. arhurhurhur~ I'll post another journal with the Sketches later~

That i havent been active for days~ and i havent commenting much.

well, our school has an event called 'Pesantren Ramadhan', its an event once a year on Ramadhan Month (a month when the muslim is doing the Puasa..long explanation :p) and i  one of the Even Organizer (EO) hahaha! :B well, me and my friends (Yanuwar, Nur, Fahmi, Bagas, etc...) were busy preparing things for the event. beside the event, there would be also some competition. which make alot more job for us, the EO. nyehehe~

we have to come school earlier than the other. GRAAH~ i feel so tired, like

yep im so tired that my hair turned gray .___.

and the event starting tommorow. for a full week, me and my friends have to take care of everything. HIYA. my awesome student life.

but i feel okay, its actually fun, since my friends are fun and seems excited too!

oh and  WOA YOU GUYS ARE SO PRODUCTIVE. only 3 days and i got 300 favorites update? i actually put ALL of you in my favorites list so its easier for me to keep commenting. hehehe :]

now i just need to puke to get out all of my tired-ness.

Im sorry for my hiatus. i was having a problem, such a personal problem, that i dont think most of you will have. for real.

I was lost my ~*electric*~ spirit and happiness for days, and i dont like it at all. its dramatic and horrible as it seems to be. i feel like, it was one of the darkest time in my life. OMGBB. so dramatic aint it? i cant even believe that it was THAT bad. but it was. sadly :( 

but ngeh, i've passed that :D im so happy nyappy dappy now :} believe me i am. although remembering that problem still can make me banging my head to the wall, im much more okay than before now :) thanks for you, my friends, and all of your awesome post that satisfied my desire in commenting and comunicating :]

I just read the manga Yotsuba&! and NYAW ITS ADORABLE ;__; i love little kids,. especially the happy and cute one, like Yotsuba :o)

OHAI. Today i found a spider at school. And i eat it.

Just kidding. But no, i did found a spider. It was really cute, the spider were small, same size with my nail. But it was so cute =3 He keep walking on my fingers, and i keep 'playing; with him xD it was fun!
I ask my friend would they like to touch it but they say it scares them.
