Nerdy Journal: Art Rambling

Hello Buzzpeeps! i'ts been awhile since i've been here..my internet had a connection problem so i can't use internet at home D: i am now in my aunt's home, borrowing her laptop.

here's some things from my life recently:

1. I deleted all photos from my Buzznet that is not my photo...except the Jamia Nestor gallery. Because i'm a fantard of her i can't help it :')

2. I watched Up, Public Enemies, Drag Me to Hell,Ice Age and Star Trek recently. i'll write a full journal of the reviews, but here a few words of the movies:

UP: ILU PIXAR AND YOUR WELL DEVELOPED ANIMATION ♥

Public Enemies: A pretty movie for guns/violence/pretty dresses lover like me.

Ice Age: a decent cartoon full of slapstick comedy. SIMON PEGG IS IN IT.

Drag Me to Hell: Ice age version of horror. filled with: *silent dramatic tease*---and then BOOM!!!!

Star Trek: SHINY. seriously, there's so much lights in that movie :B SIMON PEGG IS IN IT.

3. when i was in the Cinema, a little kid asked her father "Papa, what's GIJU?" i giggled. he meant G.I. JOE. in Indonesian, there's this thing called 'old spelling'. OE is read as U. ahaha the kid was so cute.

now, since i need something else to talk about..this is a Nerdy Journal, where i'm being all nerdy because i can.

for today, i am going to show y'all my art nerd rambling. in deviantArt, i write long ass comment to every deviation i came accross off with things that catch my eyes, things i love, things i don't like, and sometimes critique. i don't do those long ass rambling comment on Buzznet because THERE'S TOO MUCH OF YOU GUYS AHAHA :'D

so here is just a little bit of the awesomeness of people in Buzznet, and my art rambling toward it.

my art rambling is only how i think of a piece of work, what catches my eyes, and what interest me. my wording is still isn't very good, i am only expressing my feeling toward these artworks.

by Scummm.

this is a perfect nature silhouette shot! it is fascinating how the silhouette is completely black, giving such a contrast with the warm, dreamy looking clouds as the background. the timing is also amazing! the pose of the bird, with a little bit of head of it's children have such a dramatic effect to the photo.

this is photojournalism portrait in all of it's glory. the framing is great, focusing on both models and their beautiful outfitthe contrast is soft, yet crisp. very cultural. all i'm saying is i can see this as the National Geographic cover.

The irony is beautiful Heart is a symbol of love and care, yet the words says 'Nobody Cares". i love how the heart is also 'made' by chalks. to me, it speaks like a feeling of person who is faking a care and love, but inside, they don't care. just, powerful.

this is simply beautiful. i love how the hair is flowing, very naturally. i love Dixie's iconic stye, and i love her smooth coloring technique. very feminime and lovely!the simple background suit the character of the drawing very much!

by NovemberUncertain.

eery, yet beautiful. this looks like a still out of a mystery/horror movie. a beautiful one. at first this feels very lonely, but then you see 2 people there, and it STILL left a lonely feeling. a 'lefted' feeling. the perspective is brilliant, look at how white the sky is!Are we there yet?
"Are we there yet?"

this is a wonderful portrait of a lovely looking creature. the colors are soft, giving a friendly atmosphere to it. i can see this photo in a children book about animals!

Nothing else to say.
Nothing else to say.
also by Scummm.

this makes a GORGEOUS fashion photo! the models expressions are cheerful, the contrast and colors are high and beautiful, and their clothes are just cool.

this was shot on Gay pride, and this is a dazzling photjournalism! It is a dazzling shot with a perfect framing for a very wonderful subject, this photo just strikes out!the big amount of details on the outfit is fascinating.

Pasta(woaini) took this photo and use it to promote PCF *if you visit her page you'll know* and this is just powerful! it shows the dark, dirty side of life. it touch me, and i am sure this also touch YOU. this make a great, powerful photo.

a great photojournalism of..so much things happening! i really like the color block here; gives a dramatic atmposphere to the photo.

by Hellena85.

what a gorgeous black and white photo.the framing is nice, showing so much from the scenery. the sharp contrast add more dramatic feeling to the photo.

yep that was my reaction first time i saw it. it's just...flawless. the colors, the scenery, the lighting, the positioning of the model, the framing! it all catches my eyes!

so THERE was my art rambling of the awesomeness in Buzznet :'D this i not ALL, i think i will make part two, because, there's so much of you guys! i will also show my art ramble from deviantArt next time :-)

now, show me 2 things:

1. your favorite photo from photos above

2. your favorite work of ~*mine, and your art ramble toward it, if you would :p

that's all for the nerdy journal today, bye!

The Philippines Christian Foundation (aka Protecting Children and Families) is an organization dedicated to breaking the poverty cycle.
Parents of children are promised jobs of sorting and organizing trash, if they promise to send their kids to the PCF schools.
The children and families are also provided with meals and medical attention.
Many parents also work from home by making jewelery and accessories out of recycled goods such as old brochures and candy wrappers.
PCF is also building a school out of old shipping containers that hopes to hold up to 1,000 students when it opens. The structure is the largest of its kind.

Yay, thank you so much for featuring me. I was amazed how wonderful the pier looks in the fog, But the truth is that you can't see anything further than few steps and it worries you a bit while walking along - you cannot see anything above the sea, just the white mist. If you have a huge imagination and you watched The Mist it could be kind of scary.

I really like your choice of Missie, Brandnewhope and Scummm's pictures. They're really great.
Sugarpunk: 09/04/2009 9:59 AM
THANK YOU SO MUCH for featuring me, I really love your choice of pictures here. and, I enjoyed your interpretation of my photo. mine's a bit different- you've got a heart full of love and you're ready to give it to someone, but nobody gives a damn about it. irony & loneliness.
sappysuperunknown10: 09/04/2009 10:49 AM
