mmkay..few days ago i decided to leave DA.... but i change my mind now.

i think that place is pretty fine. and as i said in one of xcaliburr post, DeviantArt is a mean place. you wont get recognized unless you have amazing stuff. and that actually a good thing. because it push you to be better.

but the problem is, im nowhere near 'DA awesome'

second, i tried to fit in as a 'fanartist'. a mcrmyfanartist, lets say. but i fail. because i dont make what the mcrmyartist there like;

1. colorful comic *IM A MAJOR FAIL IN DRAWING DIGITAl!!!!*

2. frerard/waycest/slash. *it just that all romantic-thingy gives me a stomachache*

so i officially fail.

Third, i feel so effing lonely there. i dont really have someone to talk with. i want friends.

but my lovely and awesome friend, Winona *woohoo23* said, she wants to be my friend there. well, thats just give me some hope.

so i think about it again, and i guess i wont leave DA =]

BUT...i'll make a new account. because ;

1. i dont want people to see my crappy old page anymore =]

2. my username is too long for deviantart! i'll make it simple like 'Anra' next time =]

but i'll make it 2 weeks from now. just have to improve my art now. i have to.

White Shoes & the Couples Company [Habana Annex; 11 p.m.]


And now for something complete different...indie pop! From Indonesia! Jakarta sextet White Shoes & the Couples Company (minus a guitarist here) came from halfway around the world to entertain, and entertain they did. Between the slick matching wedding band getup, the highly danceable retro pop stylings, and the picture-perfect poise of charismatic vocalist Aprilia Apsari, there was much to love about this Minty Fresh-signed act. Separated from this adorable performance, the music may have come across a bit hokey, but give these kids credit for their willingness to put on a show, complete with sing- and clap-alongs, much moving of feet, and even a cute drum solo bit.

So long, SXSW 2008! It's been real.
